Is the human race evolving?
Sometimes it is hard to tell. Sometimes, in the face of the evening news incidents of violence and the inequity caused by fear greed, it seems as if the answer is no.
But Bob Herbert makes an excellent case for the affirmative … at least in some, very important, ways, we are a more evolved and wise race than we were before.
